Terms & Conditions:

To avoid getting caught up in any technical issues with your release on your end, we advise the first step would be to read Distrokid's Guidelines over here, as we can not take any actions that Distrokid doesn't permit us to.

After you're done with reading these guidelines, here are a few important highlights from Bipolar Wolf using Distrokid's distribution.​​​​​​

1. RELEASES:

  1. Please pay very close attention to the Release Form while uploading your music. Enter the data accurately and answer the questions as precisely as possible. In case, an artist files a complaint against issues faced with a release, the Release Form will be the primary evidence and any errors made on the artist's end may not be possible to entertain.
    ​

  2. The custom release date and time for your song or album has to be set at least a week prior to the release to be followed accurately by the stores. There's still a chance for stores to miss this time and release a few hours later or even earlier. We would like to point out that this is not controlled by Bipolar Wolf or Distrokid but the stores themselves.

2. WITHDRAWING EARNINGS:

  1. As per Distrokid's policy, you will need at least 5$ worth of streaming or sales revenue accumulated in your account to withdraw your earnings generated by your music.

  2. Bipolar Wolf doesn't charge a commission fee from your earnings but Distrokid's payment provider charges a processing fee for withdrawing via PayPal which comes out to 1$ plus 2% of the transaction, with a maximum fee ceiling of $1 in the United States, or $20 USD if you're outside the U.S.

  • PayPal (Non-US resident): USD 1.00 + 2% Up to USD 21.00

  • PayPal (US resident): USD 1.00 + 2% Up to USD 2.00

3. YOUTUBE MUSIC AND OFFICIAL ARTIST CHANNEL

  1. The Official Artist Channel will be provided only to those artists who have made at least three releases from their YouTube Music channel. It may take up to two weeks to upgrade your channel.

  2. YouTube Music may sometimes make errors with your releases such as releasing your music earlier than the release date, releasing it on someone else's channel, releasing someone else's music on your channel, etc. In such cases, Bipolar Wolf cannot fix their problem, but you can directly fill the YouTube: Official Artist Channel Mapping Requests form by clicking below.

4. LYRICS AND TIME SYNCING LYRICS

  1. Stores may take a large amount of time to display your lyrics, it may even take two weeks after approval.

  2. Stores may take a large amount of time with syncing your lyrics, it may even take a month to do so. We apologise for the same.

5. PRIVACY POLICY

  •  All music and album art released by Bipolar Wolf Records is owned by the artist or the artist's management. However the music will be used to promote the artists on the website in the Music section and free download links are available to website users.


  • The artist bio mentioned in the Artists section is to be provided by artists or the artist's management. If they fail to do so, their profile will not be created in the Artists section.

6. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

1. Once the membership fee is paid, there will not be any refunds for the membership fee. Please read about all the features and the rules and regulations before making your payment.

2. Once the membership fee is paid, there can not be any cancellations of the membership regardless of the release date being in the future. The release, however may be aborted from being distributed to stores, but the membership will remain active.
