In December 2020, Mumbai based Indian rapper and music producer Mameluke started started his own small scale music distribution service called Bipolar Wolf Records. To start this service, he created a Record Label called Bipolar Wolf records and released music for various other artists. In November 2021, he started his Website for the Record Label. But the difference is that now the service is no more underground and the spotlight is on the artists, with the features in our music and artists page which will help you boost your SEO. The primary aim of this website will always be to be the best at providing the artists with all the necessary tools for the most important thing to a successful independent musician.

How are we different from Distrokid?
Although, Bipolar Wolf releases music for artists using Distrokid's partnership, there are many differences between the two websites.
The key difference is in the pricing and features. The Musician plan at Distrokid costs 20$ per year (approx. ₹1500) which does not provide all the features that Bipolar Wolf Basic Membership provides but provides some other promotion and networking tools. The Musician Plus costs 36$ per year (approx. ₹2700) plan provides all the features of Bipolar Wolf Basic Membership, Distrokid Musician Plan some more features.
As on paper, Bipolar Wolf Records is a Record Label which uses Distrokid to distribute music for artists/bands to 50+ music stores worldwide. Distrokid is a Digital Music Distribution Website with the primary aim of providing distribution to the artists. Even though Bipolar Wolf is a Record Label, we will neither charge you any commission fee from the streaming revenue or sales generated by your music, nor pay you for creating music. You keep 100% of the revenue and rights to your music and release unlimited music with a yearly subscription, similar to Distrokid. But Bipolar Wolf's Primary aim is to help artists create their own brand as a Professional Independent Artist.
